It is very true that the more information you have at your disposal, the better informed you become allowing you to make better decisions. It is common practice for many Americans to blindly believe what we are being told via the media sources, when in fact the real truth is that some of the reporting has very little real truth and is easily disputed when we make the effort to investigate the facts for ourselves. How sad it is that many of the important life decisions we make are based on mis-information or wrong facts.

For instance one of the things that our government would like all Americans to believe is that socialized medicine is bad. They use the guise of communism and government control to make people think that this type of medicine would be a bad thing or is something undesirable. They tell stories of doctors being controlled, not making any money, and of patients dying while waiting for treatment. They say that a government health care plan very simply won’t be as effective as the plan currently in place and that Americans will wind up paying more for health care in the form of taxes than most are currently paying now. The socialized medicine scare we have blindly bought into is beginning to be challenged with credible evidence contray to what we have been feed for decades as the truth. Doctors report not having any fears of not getting paid or being underpaid for their services in a timely manner and they are well pleased with the socialized medical care system they are practicing under. Being able to see a doctor for any condition at any time without any red tape associated with the income of the individual is one of the things that patients really like about the socialized medical care system. They can choose what doctor they will see for treatment or consultation and the whole routine is without hesitation; they receive the care they need and are sent on their way. It would seem that the only losers are those in other types of medical care systems and plans and clearly the real winners in the U.S. care system are those who refuse to consider any changes that will bring health care cost down to a affordable level, which they are fiercely refusing to do. The old arguments that government run health care doesn’t work well or serve the people well, is getting pretty tried and lame. It has for years, served countries like Canada, Cuba and many other nations well with impressive results. The propaganda machine is unwilling to give up the golden goose egg and continue to make trillions off of sickness in America, if it means having to forfeit their own interests and greed.
